Hi Bill,
I have been chasing this rabbit trying to figure out what’s wrong with my left turn signal. The right turn signal works properly. I checked all bulbs and those are working. All fuses are good. I recently replaced the turn signal wiring harness inside the steering wheel using one purchased from this website. It did not solve my problem. So I did the next thing and that was to see if I had proper ground. I cleaned the socket as well as the light housing the light socket goes into, and I got my left running light and hazards working on both sides but still no left turn signal. Could I still have a bad light socket. I’m scratching my head on this one. I also noticed when I pull turn signal lever down for left signaling the white light comes on the left side marker light. I don’t know if that tells you anything. I need help before I go crazy!

Hello Jeremiah,
To answer your question, if you have already made some improvement by cleaning some electrical grounds etc. then yes you could of course have more bad circuits that need proper electrical testing in order to properly diagnose and service. Do you have a correct wiring diagram, electrical tools and knowledge to do this in an orderly manner? If not, you could be wasting time and money by guessing, replacing or servicing parts that are in good working order. We wish you good luck with the diagnosis and repair.
Sincerely,
Bill
